A $75 upfront diagnostic fee covers up to one hour of troubleshooting. We explain what we find and give you an itemized repair estimate.

You make the call.

Approve the work before repairs begin. Additional diagnosis or teardown needs your approval too. Pay the remaining approved balance at pickup.

The diagnostic fee is separate from repair charges and remains payable if repairs are declined. Every repair estimate is specific to your generator.

What kind of generators do you work on?

Portable and inverter generators. Send the brand, model, and symptoms so we can discuss your equipment before you arrange a drop-off. We do not offer installed home standby generator service.

How does the $75 diagnostic fee work?

The $75 fee is collected at drop-off and covers up to one hour of troubleshooting. It is a separate charge from repair labor and parts, and remains payable if you decline repairs. Additional diagnostic time or teardown requires your approval.

Can I just swing by?

Please arrange an appointment first. Iron Crow is a small, owner-operated business with a changing schedule. Texting works best; if you call and miss us, leave a voicemail. Drop-off and pickup both need a confirmed appointment. A time entered on this site is a request, not a booking; wait for our reply before arriving.

How much will the repair cost?

Every generator has a different story. After diagnosis, you receive an itemized estimate for the recommended repairs. Nothing moves forward without your approval. If additional work is needed, we check with you first.

Is my generator worth fixing?

That is part of the conversation. We will explain the findings and proposed cost so you can weigh repair against replacement. There is no one-size-fits-all service package.

Do you offer mobile service?

On-site work may be available by arrangement. Tell us where the generator is and what is happening. Travel, diagnosis, and service charges are quoted before scheduling; the drop-off diagnostic price is not a complete mobile-service price.
